3D modeling for furniture makers and manufacturers
Every custom inquiry costs you modeling time before it is a job. Arce shortens the distance between a customer describing a piece and you having something real to quote, revise, and build from.
The problem with modeling on spec
A client asks whether you can make something. Answering properly means modeling it, and modeling it properly takes hours you have not been paid for. So quotes get rough, revisions get expensive, and the work that pays least is the work you do most of.
Arce changes the arithmetic. Getting to a dimensioned, editable model is fast enough that it is worth doing during the conversation rather than after it.
What you get out of it
- A dimensioned model early enough to quote against with confidence.
- Revisions that take minutes, so a client changing their mind is not a loss.
- STEP and 3DM export into the CAD and CAM tools already running in your shop.
- Control over joinery, material thickness, and tolerances rather than a mesh you have to rebuild.
- More directions explored per job, which is usually what wins the job.
Manufacturable output, not just a picture
AI 3D tools mostly produce meshes. A mesh is a shell: fine for a render, awkward for a cut list. Arce targets the parametric formats shops actually run on, so the model carries the dimensional intent forward instead of losing it at export.
STEP conversion runs locally in your browser, which also means client geometry you are under obligation to protect is never uploaded anywhere.
Frequently asked questions
Can Arce export files my CNC or CAM software can use?
Yes. Arce exports STEP and 3DM, the parametric interchange formats most CAD and CAM tools read. You bring the model into your existing toolchain and continue from there.
Can I control joinery and material thickness?
Yes. Output is editable rather than fixed, so dimensions, thicknesses, and joint details are yours to set. That is the difference between a model you can build from and a model you can only look at.
Is Arce accurate enough for production?
Arce is designed to get you to an accurate, dimensioned, editable model quickly, and to hand it off in a format that preserves that. As with any tool, production files should be reviewed by whoever is responsible for the build before anything is cut.
How is Arce different from AI 3D generators like Meshy or Tripo?
Most AI 3D tools produce a mesh, which is a surface good enough to look at but awkward to manufacture from. Arce is built around manufacturable output: it exports parametric CAD interchange formats such as STEP and 3DM, and the dimensions, materials, and joints stay editable after generation. If your next step is a shop drawing or a CNC file rather than a render, that difference is the whole point.
Is my design work private?
Your projects are private to your account. STEP conversion in particular runs locally in your browser, so that geometry never leaves your machine.
How do I get access to Arce?
Arce is onboarded through a demo rather than a self-serve signup, so the setup matches how your studio actually works. Book a demo on the homepage or email support@arce.design.
